Dana Schumacher

Dana Schumacher is assistant director for scholarship and research, having moved over from Ross Hall after many years as adviser in the Department of Political Science and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ International Studies program. Dana, who holds a B.A. and M.F.A. from the University of California–Irvine, originally came to ISU in 1976 to teach dance, an activity that she continues to pursue.  Dana, who has advised students on Honors projects and taught a number of Honors Seminars, has received several awards for advising and mentoring.
