Choosing to be a part of the Freshman Honors Program at Iowa State University is a big decision for any student, but it also a big decision for you as a parent.  Our Freshman Honors Program is designed to help incoming students make an easy transition to ISU and begin to take advantage of the benefits of the Honors Program from day one. We want your student to have a successful first year in college just as much as you do!

For more information regarding the parent experience at ISU, please visit the Parents' Association homepage at http://www.dso.iastate.edu/pa/.  The Iowa State University Parents' Association is an auxiliary organization of the Dean of Students Office, governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of parents of Iowa State students. All parents of ISU students are automatically members of the Association. The Parents' Association serves as a link between you as parents and the university. Its mission is to serve and inform parents and to enhance the quality of student life at Iowa State University.
