Honors student Katie Carver is spending the summer in Hyderabad, India interning with the Plant Sciences Institute Borlaug Summer Internship Program working on international plant research and development. Specifically, she’s working with pigeon pea research (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigeon_pea) and adjusting to daily 110 degree temperatures.
